The Enchanted Isle Poem by Juan Olivarez

The Enchanted Isle

Just take a trip for a little while,
Spend some time on the enchanted isle.
Where the streams overflow with pink lemonade,
And lollipops grow in a rainbow glade.

Chocolate kisses grow on trees,
And theres pools of ice cream to your knees.
M&Ms rain from the sky,
While butterscotch parrots go flying by.

Jelly beans and licorice drops,
Rain down on the mountain tops.
And spread upon the mountain side,
The bushes spreading far and wide.

You'll never leave the enchanted Isle,
You'll feel young, just like a child.
Once your'e here you'll want to stay,
And have some sweet stuff every day.
