The End Of Course Poem by Juan Olivarez

The End Of Course

Rating: 5.0

A worm popped out of a hole in the
Ground.
He opened his eyes and looked all
Around.
But he couldn't see with the sun so
bright.
He should have popped out sometime during the
night.
For a Thrush happened to be passing by just
Then.
Goodnight sweet prince, this of course is the
End.

Well, I hate worms but your poem makes me feel quite sorry for this little chappie - should have stayed underground. Love it Juan.
