The End Of Me Poem by Lilian Chromious Eveson

The End Of Me

Rating: 5.0

With my earphones in total max out,
With no idea what everything was about,
I turn my eyes towards the darkened sky,
And mutter to the world my one final goodbye.

No more promises to make and break,
No more sacrifices for anyone's sake,
I'm going to end my breath tonight,
As I watch everything vanish in my sight.

To everyone who killed my dreams,
This isn't what it looks and seems,
Because you people are going down with me,
I'll take your 'gifts' to my home for eternity.

You made me see that all I did were wrongs,
That the only things I can love were songs,
Leaving me with no one to lose and gain,
That's why I ended here standing in the rain.

I'll end my story right here and right now,
Without further a do nor an elegant bow.
Know that I became what I am, not because of me,
But you who expected me to be what I cannot be.

I'll never be sorry for everything I've done,
I'm not sorry to myself who will see no more the sun,
I won't feel regret for ending my breath,
But direct all the blame for the path they had set.

Goodbye to no one and hi to my freedom,
Will i may have the chance to see the kingdom?
All answers will be seen once I jumped the ground,
And so I did as beauty kissed me in the form of sound.
