The End Of My Life Poem by ushna usman

The End Of My Life

Rating: 5.0

The sky was dusky, full of delight,
the moon with the shiny sparkling light,
filled the sad dark corners of my room,
and woke me up with a gloom,
I tried to hide from the world,
the thoughts in my head now blurred,
I was scared and startled and shaken,
because now had they just taken,
two steps forward towards me,
they moved forward and left me free,
of the burden for two decades I beared,
they went away with my room cleared,
of all the moonlight and memoirs,
leaving me utterly empty inside,
because the angels had taken my soul away,
and this was the end of my life....
