An inescapable entity obsessed with progression
It bounds your existence with irreversible succession
The measurement of life, we are all slave to its will
The cessation of our being, the ultimate kill

Emotions askew, we grasp onto a name
A redundancy in reality in our moments of pain
Our light surrenders, trapped in its chain
Do we have to endure this procedure again?

Be it is at may, societal views stay the same
An eternity of joy or an eternity of flames
The cycle of life, all bounded by sequence
The neighbor of space, the oldest of friends

A life without judgement releases your mind
Exposing the weakness of its paradigm
Pleasure, the primary goal of mankind
Pain, the primary weapon of time.
