we knew that there is
a problem
an elephant in the room
but we choose
to let go, to just be ourselves
seeing the elephant
so huge but not moving
what do we do? we read about
lions,
we listen to the songs of
the wilderness
we feel the forest
we move like amazons
we move out of the four
corners of the room
we pluck the petals of the
rose
we arrive at the truth
and then we listen
we keep ourselves like
expensive china in the cabinet
and so we stay
as one panoramic view
of humans simply trying to make
it out of live
breathing creatures
patient and so excited about what
to come next
smiling eyes and gaping mouths.
