The Existentialist Side Poem by Newton Ray Ukwuoma

The Existentialist Side

The Existentialist Side

Never from us do all true thoughts arise
Which in their truthfulness we esteem wise
For we read nature’s thoughts as we true sage’
As nature’s own, all sources deserve homage
For in fact good wisdom comes from the skies
This, meek refineries should not despise
Thus said, permit me to quote such a sage
Who truly lived the saying, “world is a stage”
Seers of movies and customs of theatres
Should know to observe many characters
Suffering so well from identity crisis
Repainting selves for cheering voices
But if to please others we our real self hide
Then life is in the existentialist side
