The Fall Of Man Poem by Mark Solares

The Fall Of Man

In the garden, a peaceful walk,
Innocent, naive, in deep thought.
I hear her voice calling out for me,
The light of my life, my wife Eve.
'Adam, Adam, there is wonderful news,
My eyes have been opened and yours can be too.'
To please my wife, I took a bite,
And saw we were naked in Gods sight.

The Serpent watched in quiet content,
He had found the weakness in the hearts of men.
