The Family Poem by Akshay Shukla

The Family

One land was there at inception
Then we broke it of deception
We let our ideas control
Supressing our heart`s growl

We spilt blood and sweat
Not for a reason called, threat
It was a foolish mistake
For which much was put at stake

Then came a leader to lead
But was not much kind of his deed
The land saw blood again
And saw it`s wealth drain

There was a wall for this split
Which only crush the hopes that lit
The blood in both children was same
Yet, spilting it, they thought was fame

Maybe this was the harsh truth
But still not understood by many sleuth
This started a cycle of hatred and pain
From which nothing was to be gain

After a while, people understood the cost
And what in this they had lost
At last, change came in the mind
Which caused their hearts to bind

Then came the day of light
When the sun seemed too bright
The land united again, happily
In the end, we all again became the family
