The Feeling Of A Kite Poem by Kenny Mantinelli

The Feeling Of A Kite

I just gotta keep it cool,
I just gotta keep it real;
I just can’t be a fool,
I just can’t make a deal.

I’m going to walk away,
I’m going to find the true one;
I’m living only my way,
I’m living just for fun.

Don’t try to turn around,
Don’t try to change your mind;
Don’t think you’ll be back inbound,
Don’t think I’ll let you rewind.

I’m going one step ahead,
I’m going out of your sight;
I’m forgetting what you said,
I’m forgetting the feeling of a kite.
