The Final Friday Poem by Vishnu Vidyadharan

The Final Friday

Rating: 5.0

`~~The 'Final Friday'..........farewell all..~~`

I always like to play with words,
but deep down i realised.
there are expressions beyond what
words could ever explain...
and here is a farewell note...
an expression of the unexplained..!

...```~~~``~~``
Riding down our trail together
we've passed heaps, drenches,
curves and perhaps a thousand
mile stones, but never have I bothered
to put myself in the right path...but
there they where. And now that I'm at a
crossroad, I need to switch over a path..!
These couple of steps, I realise, are harder
than the first hundred ones. Every step that
I take drags me into a new world of thoughts
and i already lost my scroll....!

Another Face of my life kept running
away frm me... Never have I even dreamt
of a day...to stand aside, to say
Good Byee..to the ones I love, n'now
that day is alive and breathing.
The borded Train ends its trail here,
n' says we've to move on...!

Left alone with just a hand full of memories
in a heart, that never accepts this Retrival.
Shattered like pieces of glasses...
Dispersed like a spectrum of light...
Dofferentiated by virtue of life...! Like
writing down an algorithm of memories
as the clock ticks by, marking the end of
hours, wiping out days of togetherness.
One last glimpse at that classroom
Where we lost ourselves in joyious love...
Those four walls built out of dreams
that gave me wings to fly...Said Good Byee
to all shabby benches that we scribbled on...
Defenitions dont explain why celebrations
ends up in tears. Never have i Felt so
heavy hearted, walkin down those stairs.
The 'Good Old Days' turn history as
we step another summer

....Longing to see you all again
promising to keep that breathing
...........i say 'Farewell All'
Living up seasons of the fallen leaves,
hoping that spring wouldn't be far behind...!
Good Byee..Air..Life..and...Soul of Nava Nirman..!
