The Final Straw Poem by GHOST WRITER

The Final Straw

Rating: 4.7

Please help me this one last time
I need a favour, please
I did it again against better judgement
I suppose I was raised with too much care for others
But that was the final straw
You will use me no more

I am off to the gym
To shed this weight
I should’ve started sooner
But it’s never too late

It’s not just about image
But more of a symbol too
I will work off the burden of you kilo by kilo

I will slice you away inch by inch
To come out as me
Without the heaviness you have laid on me thus far

You are on your own
Leave me be
With this action I shed you from me
