The First Time I Saw Her. Poem by David Kinyanjui

The First Time I Saw Her.

Rating: 5.0

The first time I saw her,
even though it was from afar,
she made me go gaga!

Not that I am every Tom, Dick and Harry,
that I would hurry,
to jump everywhere like a pong ball,
calling everyone darling.

But the first time I saw her,
she captured my heart.
There is nothing I could abhor.

A lady so fine,
she ought not to freeze and shine.
Natural In setting,
she left me solo chanting.
