THE FLAG OF ITSELF
THE FLAG OF ITSELF
the bell
empties itself
creates silence
the flower
unfurls the flag
of itself
the bird sings
to the rain
darkness whispers to the sky
the wind
chases the grass
all over itself
her skirt
brushes raindrops from the grass
the ascent of a lark
