The Flower

When I see a flower, it says something to me,
something I can't hear from given ears.

When I smell the flower, it whispers something to me,
those beautiful words I could somehow perceive.

When I start plucking it's petals, strangely it never complaint to me,
perhaps now each petal starts saying something.

When I see a flower, it says something to me,
the words of beauty,
something I can't..........................
because not even the flower had a given tongue.

For forty years from dawn to dark —
Alone beside Caermarthen Bay.
