The Forgotten Ones Poem by Sandra Feldman

The Forgotten Ones

Rating: 5.0

The spiritual paupers
The hopeless ones
The forgotten ones,
Go around,
Begging for love
Begging for union
Begging for peace
For understanding!
For in almost all
Countries,
Brothers fights Brother
And abuse each other
Without remorse
But with blind force
As despotic governments
Rub their dirty hands,
And
To friends and buddies,
Extend power!

This poem gives a pretty accurate image of our world. And it's well written too!

Brother fighting brother, a conflict like no other. Reminds me of the U.S. Civil War, which really wasn't very civil. Five stars.

Dear Sandra, Everywhere it is the same. The greed for power. How can there be peace?

Poets are mirrors of the society they show you what they see. This poem is evidence of it. Profound poem.5****
