in the old times their lay a code or a law in which your honor and beliefs were set, the knights followed chivalry, and the samurais to Bushido and others followed their codes, and within these codes their was a great honor, a way of life, of purpose, even in battle against hated enemies their was honor and respect and they understood that a man is a man and they to have their honor, and their beliefs no matter how different they were entirely the same.
