The Four Walls Poem by Van Davie

The Four Walls

My bedroom is full of secrets
Never knew 'til the time reached
When your name was the only reflection left of you
After a long time living together
My four walls scream loudly
They all calling your name day and night
They all want you back home
unfortunately nobody can hear them but me
And i can't do nothing but crying

The screams eventually become whispers, and then fade away all together. An emotionally charged, nicely written piece, Van. Thanks

Great poem. One can actually feel the anguish of missing a partner particularly in the bedroom they have shared together.
