The Fraction Implied Poem by Scott J. Shepard

The Fraction Implied

I've been waiting for a moment of completion
when understanding the implicit

These feelings of mine are an undeclared ocean
yet their embodiment mimics the sky.

I've shared the appearance of being blue.
Like the feeling you get when turned upside down,
trenching me untrue to the intimate absolute.

Two unequivocal parts, divided by the
framework of the earths foundation.

Yet here I am, torn between them

I'd like to be found in this place,
with the dynamics you inherit from being seen whole.
