The Fragrance Of Love Poem by William Blackman

The Fragrance Of Love

Permit me to address my extra sensitive nose.
Romantic love brings with it a very distinct smell.
My thoughts are carried on the delectable winds of spring.
Thoughts of my beloved is so like perfume to the brain.
Intoxicated and seduced by her images those willows in motion.
Deep in the heart lies the most provocative scents.
Any and all rooms filled with her subduing presence.
Love that's flaming blocks of emotion falling to the earth.
Love that's smoke and mist ascending gently to the sky scape.
Whether awake or dreaming the feeling never leaves me.
Intermingling forces that grapple, grow and become one.
