The Freight Trains Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

The Freight Trains

I see the freight trains
Passing,
Passing and pausing
When signaled,
Letting the route trains
Pass by,
Glide and slide
With the giddy images
Hurrying past
In a huff

And the freight trains waiting,
Waiting for the signal
To green,
The red light to turn green
And to be allowed,
Allowed to go
With the cargoes,
Wagons hurtling,
Hurtling,
Dragged and pulled
And going.

They stop it not,
Keep it,
Keep it going,
Going and hurtling,
Hurtling along
With the cargoes of loads,
Wagons full with
Or empty,
The freight trains,
Freight trains
Going,
Going past whistling.

When far from, I hear,
Hear them
Passing,
I see, see them crossing
Musically,
The freight trains,
Freight trains
With wagons and cargoes
Hurtling along,
Dragged and pulled
Spontaneously.
