The Garden Poem by Lydie Mathers

The Garden

Rating: 5.0

Come along and walk with me
In the Garden of Mystery
Breath in deep the refreshing air
Smell the roses that are nestled over there

Refresh your soul and contemplate
For in this Mysterious Garden you have a clean slate
Don't worry about who you were then
Here you have been reborn again

Take my hand and I will hold you close
Listen to my story it has it's purpose
On the cross I died that day
So that I could bring you here and show you the way

Because I love you I took all your sin
So that here your final journey could begin
I love you more than I can with words aloud
If you say you love me too then we will be heaven bound

This Garden here is from my Father to you
Please don't make me wrong show your heart is true
I fought for you to bring you to this place
Don't let it be a slap in my face

Walk with me awhile and I'll show you all
The glory of my Father so that you will not fall
But if you do remember I am there
I will help you through and carry you anywhere
