The Gate Poem by Black Rabbit

The Gate

Sometimes when people go
They would like to know,
if they will see the heavenly sights.
Tonight I won't have to wait
because I'm standing outside
The Gate.

To think back on all the people.
The happy young to old and feble.
Those that stay with you,
and them that which are always true.
I hope they will always remember this date.
Because I'm standing outside
The Gate.

I wonder what they will do without me.
They'll be alright; just wait and see.
To forever be with them night and day.
I'm happy now, remember me that way,
today is the day of my great fate
Because today is the day I go through
The Gate
