The Giant Poem by Lea Simpson

The Giant

My father the giant as giant as can be
Big, strong looking down at me

Giant feet I stand on top of,
so that I move when my giant dad does

My father the giant as giant as can be
I look straight ahead now and it’s you that I see

And all my steps are my own these days
but you’re still my giant in innumerable ways
