The Girl Who Married The Moon Poem by Ishaan Bhat

The Girl Who Married The Moon

Rating: 5.0

The dark mighty night sky is incomplete without you
You are the one who beautifies it with your shine
You are the beloved darling of my heart, my moon
Your beauty is astonishing, your radiance divine.
The fifteenth day of the month, the new moon day
I miss you a lot, my moon, and I pine
But the end of the month, is a joyful day
As you, with your full face, glow with incredible shine.

You never be the same, always innovative
Sometimes crescent, sometimes half
That’s the thing I like about you, my moon
When you’re crescent-shape, you appear to laugh.

Looking at you is an admiring task
Wondering about you is absolute fun
My work is to marry you, my moon
Yours is to glow as bright as the sun.
