The Girl With A Smile Poem by Max D. Hornbogen

The Girl With A Smile

She was a girl that had a smile and then I saw the light in her eyes. Oh, did you know that she
had a smile as crooked as a lie. Every time I saw her she had a smile upon her face.

She was a girl that almost had me. But I refused, to be with her. Her smile would only make me look the other way. So I walked away, just pretending that nothing had happened.

Well she had a smile that could knock me off of my feet. She had me at the start, but I came to my senses. So I just walked away, just knowing that nothing had happened.

There she was, standing on the ground. Just waiting for her smile appear on her face.

But I was there to, just standing. Also trying not to look at her. So I had to, walk away again. I thought. If I gave her the finger, she would go. But I guess, I was wrong.

Well there she goes again, with a smile that could tell the world everything.

But you know, in the end she will have a smile.
