The Girl Within Poem by stuti rajesh

the girl within me wants to fight
she cries to me but i drown her voice
cause i am scared i will be left behind
new thoughts are not accepted here
new dreams not encouraged
but will you please tell me
what should i answer to the girl within
she keeps on begging and keeps on crying
my life this makes a hell


innocent and ignorant
her inauidable voice wails inside
and i just stand and smile
she asks me will i fight out
but i never seem to clear her doubt
sometimes i do say a few
and pull out a new argument
but then i am just lauged at
and that shuts me up for good
the girl inside is never quite
the girl within continues to fight
she cries to me and i still drown her voice
the ggirl within me wants to fight.
