The Good Heart Of The Honourable Persons Will Stand In Doing Virtues!

The good heart of the learned and honourable persons
Will stand strong and stable in the rightiest way of virtues,
Considering that the drums echoed in the marriage hall
Might reverberate as the death drum beat on the same day!
It is said that our body and life will not stay for ever
Thereby all are said to do virtues while they are young!

நேரிசை வெண்பா
மன்றம் கறங்க மணப்பறை யாயின
அன்றவர்க் காங்கே பிணப்பறையாய்ப் -பின்றை
ஒலித்தலும் உண்டாமென் றுய்ந்துபோம் ஆறே
வலிக்குமாம் மாண்டார் மனம்.23
யாக்கை நிலையாமை, நாலடியார்
