The Good Neighbour Poem by Michael Moorcroft

The Good Neighbour

She asked her,
To look after the house,
Whilst in Gibraltar,
Once gone,
The 'good neighbour, '
Stuck a hose,
In the letterbox,
And flooded the basement,
The act of vengeance,
Was blamed on,
Bad weather and poor luck.
The hoildayer distraught,
Didn't want an indoor pool,
She wanted a good neighbour.
