I suffer from a very bad case
Of the Grand Illusion...
In fact, I really
Have it badly.

I seem to have gotten the idea
That you love me...
And that I
Am in love with you.

When I recovered
From these thoughts,
I was shocked to find out
It was only a Grand Illusion,

One of my own making!
I deceived myself
Into thinking you love me...
Oh, Yes! A Grand Illusion!

For you don't love me,
And I can't love you,
For I am suffering
From a Grand Illusion!

Is there a cure for
This Grand Crush
I have on you? Oh, Yes!
