i have seen those white petals
at the hotel in that big city where we are billeted
as important guests
at the lobby we stop but you were looking
excitedly for the
room with a queen size bed
your mind revolves upon
the anticipations of fun

mine is settling on those white petals
for hours as i was waiting for no one
i am not crazy
i do not wish to be one

on those white petals i was waiting
for gray....
