There was a day
The greatest day I ever experienced
The day that brought peace to me
The day that brought unspeakable Joy to me
The day I met King Jesus
My life was not the same again
My life was completely transformed
That wonderful day I met King Jesus
My sins were washed by the blood
The blood which was shed on Calvary
I praise Jesus for finding me
For I was once lost like a lost sheep
I thank him through this poem
