The Green Snake Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

The Green Snake

Just like a green bean
I saw it struggling to cross
The road,
But it was not a bean
Lying on the road
But a green snake
With the bill of a parrot,
Red-billed or beaked
The snake which lies
Hanging by green hedges
I saw it lying
But so slow in movement,
Taking time to wave and go.
