The Guardians Of Life Poem by Fiona Davidson

The Guardians Of Life

The guardian angels comfort you
Bring you peace and relief
From all the pain that visits
They lullaby you off to sleep
With their potions and spells
Easing your soul to the gateways
Your spirit lies with these angels
Throughout your final flight
Take strength from their serenity
As they choose to walk your path
Holding your hand as you weaken
Carrying you when energy leaves
Float you with the water lilies
When your mind needs to wander
Their courage is amazing as they move
Through your pain and anger
To see beyond the fear inside
And still remain to help you leave

This is dedicated to all the staff and volunteers of De Water Lelie
Who's strength has and continues to carry me through...with my heartfelt gratitude.
