The Hands Of Time Poem by Francis Duggan

The Hands Of Time

Rating: 5.0

The hands of time cannot be stopped from turning we age a little bit with every day
The baby born yesterday is one day older and younger anybody does not stay
The gift of youth with anybody does not remain time seems to have flown when we recall the past
Tomorrow it will leave us one day older and every day one nearer to our last
You may be born to be a high achiever and become a famous multi billionaire
But the agent of death known as the grim reaper your greatest gift your life of you will not spare
Time it does not wait for anybody live in the now and the now is today
Tomorrow will dawn but not for everybody we are born to die life does work in this way
Only in life people are inequal by death everybody is equal made
The poorest one becomes equal to the wealthiestthe wealthy dead hero does not walk in the street parade
The hands of time cannot be stopped from turning like all other life forms humans born to die
No such a thing as an immortal person mortality is for all and all includes you and i
Time that rusts iron is everybody's master it claims all live forms and the lives of human beings as well
And on how long you live to you even an unknown the longest lived life in time not a long spell.
