The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter

The Heart is a Lonely Hunter

The heart would want that much
The whole chamber if it could fit
An entire universe of desires
Youth,
Lusts,
Permanence

It is that other person who needs, reminds you were entitled.
To another persons body,
Another persons good looks.

The things you should owns,
Needs more than he/she does.

Who is notoriously religious and wants the sky for an ally.
Talisman, incantations, shamans sticks to dance for gifts raining from the sky.

Who would sell his /her soul to the devil
To bring backa loved one from the ashes of time.

To stop if possible againsts all odds if possible for youth, beauty and immortality.

It was never a fire once extinquishes.
It was never a surrender of a white flag.

A lonely hunter who hoards for more that you need.
An entrails of guts with a selfish world.

He/she was your other voice.
