The Heart Makes Its Own Way Poem by O Anna Niemus

The Heart Makes Its Own Way

In the hospital was a woman in her 90's
quietly weeping.. because she
had left the stove on once.. her son
was planning to take her out of
her lifetime home

Social workers suggested
to him
a safety stove and
meals on wheels
..

and she was able to stay
in her home

Where there's a heart
there's a way
