The Incomplete Poem Poem by DOMINIC PREMPEH

The Incomplete Poem

Spiritual; (something devilish)
Holy-Sinner; (as holy as sinner)
And, Madagascar; (the island of masses)
Nick-names of Kofi, Yaw and Myself

Three-some, well-knitted dudes
In secondary school we met and befriended
From different backgrounds yet we jelled
And that started the common fight for the better

We had fun, tears and hopes
Our fun emanated from nature
Our tears were from stressful education
And our hopes were on better future

We surged on even after school
Igniting our hopes and inspiring each other
Keeping faith in the final destination
And working towards that

Kofi and I are trying to secure a good job
After a stressful university education
Yaw tool a different turn in the tussle
When he could not further his education

That makes this poem incomplete
For the destination is not reached, yet
We are not at the exact spot Nature promised us
And that leaves more questions to be answered!
