The Innocent Child Poem by Ryan Bell

The Innocent Child

I used to be an innocent child
Always playing talking and laughing
I used to have no worries in my mind
Only thinking about the present
Now I am a serious man
Always thinking about the future
I used to think about the day
Now I think about the future
I used to enjoy the moment
Now I'm stuck in my own mind
Until I go outside
The sunshine melts my worries away
The gentle breeze soothes me
