The Joker Poem by Jessica Elizondo

The Joker

Rating: 5.0

The Joker makes me laugh
as he bounces around the room,
and tells jokes, life life stories perhaps.
He juggles and laughs, tears of
happiness in their eyes. Everyone
looks in shock as he reveals his
suprise, his sidekick, me, the laughing
stock. His stories are true, my
heart is blue. The Joker bounces
around, he never makes up his
mind. He tells jokes that are so real,
that you would swear that they were
promises at one time, but he laughs
after every tale, so no one really knows.
He juggles my heart on the balance beam,
and he does it all with a grin on
his face. You are my joker, and I
am your joke, then you bow
and say you want an encore.
