The Journey - Poem by Allen Brodell

Soft rain, misty morning
grey and white picture
the mood of the morning

Passengers patiently waiting
for the train to arrive
minute's later while still chatting
the green locomotive
comes around the corner wheezing
It's way to passengers waiting

Yellow coaches stringed together
ready for its long journey inland
passengers filled with joy and excitement
sharing a moment of happiness
as they board the train

A child gazes up into the clouds
softly he prayers
God please bless our journey
let us all arrive safely
in Your Mercy and Love
