The Ladakhi Yak Dance And Song Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

The Ladakhi Yak Dance And Song

The folk artistes in coarse but beautiful
Conventional clothes,
Leather and woollen hilly costumes
Dancing and singing
With a masked artiste as a yak
And the yak too dancing
Near the Buddhist monastery,
The yak lying on the floor
And the male and the female artistes caressing,
Caressing the yak.
