The Lady With No Smile Poem by Sicelo Sithole

The Lady With No Smile

Rating: 5.0

Early in the morning I will see her
Dancing in the circles of her own songs
With no smile she told me all the stories under her breast bare
Revealing the nature of her heart that forever longs
To be a lady laying in green shadows without a smile
To walk around the shades of innocence and peace for a while

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

You brought the nature of this lady to life with your lovely imagery even though she wants to hide from life's pressures (maybe love pressure) for a time. The title is clever and different. 10 Karin Anderson
