The Lantern In The Night Poem by Taylor Roberts

The Lantern In The Night

Rating: 5.0

A lantern in the light,
Burning yet little see,
Its beauty as it burns.
Its ability to
lighten the night, bringing
light to the darkness, And
hope to the fear, with
little regards to the
pain as it burns, Yet still
it burns, Burning as it
Does, and as it will, the
flames and its heat, waiting

The night, the darkness that
it is, Brings the stars and
the moon with it, Holding
hope for the future and
the Blessing of an end
to the day, The fear
that the shadows bring, yet
also its reminder
that only in the dark
we can see the light again.

Only they exist,
in peace and Without
knowing, Happily
Passing, Oblivious
to one and other,

Yet if the lantern meets
the night, then the night no
more sits in darkness, and
if that darkness meets the
lantern, then the lantern
can shine, sharing is light
with the night, and bringing
with it, a silence to
fill the silence...

Light is necessary to win darkness. This is a fantastic poem shared here. Lantern shows us path at night. This meets us in hope.10
