The Last Day Poem by Moxie De Lucky

The Last Day

Rating: 5.0

I planned for that day
To be the perfect day
You had plans too I can say
But may be yours was to play
Against mine to keep you all the day
I wanted it to be our first eternal day
But you made it the last day.

A poor country man like me
What could I do to please you my love
Because you'd all of me
You had my moment and my time
You were my paradise and source of crime
I can't believe you didn't like my Lane
Or maybe I wasn't your type.

I didn't know much about town love before
That in ur eyes money material come before
I couldn't find out that you guys get rich through love
When I thought of ur heart as my home and eternal grave
You saw mine as sand pit hole or an old bush cave
You gave me what professors don't have
I learned a lesson, lesson about love.
