The Last Exchange Poem by Muzahidul Reza

The Last Exchange

Rating: 5.0

I wanted to exchange flowers
Taking mine you gave me thorns,
That was our last exchange
Yet I wanted another one,
I wanted you made me drink beer
But you gave me lifelong tear,
Now, me the thorns pierce
And I only shed tears.

A very sad exchange in life, feelings of the poem get me tears. It is so excellently and practically written piece of poetry in literature, I can't but only thank the great poet for writing this extraordinary sad poem. A poem may be so sad in feelings I have first seen and it is that very poem. I am going to list this poem in my favorite list
