The Latter Days Poem by Samuel Gouldsmith

Darkness consumed the candle flame
that gave the world its holy name

and man ignorant and corrupt
let go of the rod that led the path

now numbers are few and faith is decreasing
it wont belong before no ones believing.

But the true almighty will one day restore
the pleasures and beauties that came before

And the ones that were faithful
all the way to the end

will live in the kingdom for ever and ever amen
