The Laugh Poem by Lost Prophet

The Laugh

Rating: 5.0

Going crazy for this woman’s laugh
Missing her bare skin, my arms ache for her comforting heat
Only been a few days since I touched her last
But when you have waited a lifetime
Deficient is the heart, soft and empty
It wants to be filled with her blood and devotion
While wishing to be chained and bound
When only being tied to her is the way to achieve freedom
A mind goes insane
A heart goes missing
And my flesh means nothing
If I cannot hold her again each night
And kiss her each sunrise
It’s her soft crevasses that shape my soul
I’m selfish
For I want her
I want all she has to offer up
I want her heart inside mine
A life fulfilled because of her touch
The biggest compliment of all is…
Please be with me
Life isn’t complete if a laugh is just an echo
That’s carried on a cruel breeze
Where only the crows can now listen
Jealous, I am, at those wicked soulless beasts
