The Law Of Opposites Poem by Richard Ponsonby

The Law Of Opposites

Was heard to say
I am a very generous person
So she proclaimed on that day
And gave a tip, it wasn't much
Beyond our share
When we went up to pay
Proclaimed it's hip to leave a tip
It had to be her way
She could have done it on the quiet
But no, it sparked an awful fight
Implying that the group were mean
Made a fuss, oh what a scene
Her generosity did not end there
She generously asked how you dare
To act in ways she does not approve
So generous and full of love.
