Oh soft leathery little leaves
What a wonder on the trees
Perched so firmly on their limbs
Dancing merrily in the winds.
With dripping drops of morning dew
Splitting the early rays to rainbow hue
Myriad sparkling diamonds on the trees
Withering down in the morning breeze.
Dawn of spring, sprouts a new lease of life
Mid summer, begins spell of dry and strife
Cometh autumn, a carpet of leaves on ground
Freezing winter, wait for weather to turn around.
Nature’s lovely gift of many a kind
To birds, beast and all mankind
Food for many, cure for many ills
Nature’s roof to a traveler in the wild.
A lovely poem on nature with the mood of Keats, Wordsworth and Davis.
